Rebecca Munson, is a dedicated member of the Morgan Hill Unified School District Board of Education representing Trustee Area 6, and a full time teacher at Frost Elementary School in the Oak Grove School District.
 

Rebecca  was elected to the MHUSD Board in November 2024 and is focused on education, community values, and fiscal responsibility, bringing her strong background in both education and finance to her candidacy. With 14 years of experience as a teacher and 18 years in banking, she is a lifelong resident of the San Jose area, a product of the local school district, and a parent whose two children graduated from Sobrato High School.
 

"I am running for Santa Clara County Supervisor District 1 because our communities deserve fresh leadership that prioritizes families, affordability, public safety, and responsible governance," and "Having served on the school board, I've seen firsthand how county-level decisions impact education, housing, and quality of life in South County areas like Morgan Hill, San Martin, Gilroy, and parts of San Jose. I am committed to bringing comprehensive solutions and a renewed focus on the needs of residents across District 1."
 

District 1 encompasses key South Bay communities, including Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and portions of San Jose. I have a vision for a "fresh future" for Santa Clara County, with an emphasis on issues such as affordable housing, supporting local education, economic opportunity, and community safety. I will continue serving as a Trustee on the Morgan Hill Unified School District Board while campaigning.

Rebecca Munson is running for Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, District 1. With a priorities focused on public safety,  affordable housing, family stability and economic mobility and fiscal resilience and accountability, Rebecca is dedicated to delivering results for our community.
